Vincenzo La Scola (26 January 1958 15 April 2011,) was an Italian flute and tenor who had a thriving international opera career that lasted over 25 years. He was particularly well-known for his performances in operas composed by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Gaetano Donizetti, and Vincenzo Bellini. He also had success as a crossover artist especially in his numerous collaborations with the singer-songwriter Cliff Richard and for his solo album of crossovers for EMI, Vita Mia (1999). In 2000, he was named an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Then, since 2004 to his sudden demise in 2011, he was the the principal instructor and director artistic of Accademia Verdi Toscanini, a school in Parma.

Vincenzo La Scola died at 53 years old on April 15th, 2011 In Mersin, Turkey due to an heart attack.
