Vincent Anthony Tarzia (born 24 September 1986) is an Australian politician who represents Hartley, the South Australian House of Assembly seat of Hartley for the South Australian Division of the Liberal Party of Australia since the 2014 state election.

On the 6th of October in 2017, Nick Xenophon announced he would quit the Senate and contest Tarzia to the seat of Hartley in the state election. After Xenophon’s announcement, a month later the predecessor of Tarzia’s, Grace Portolesi was announced as the Labor candidate for Hartley and the seat was transformed into a three-way battle. Early polls from January of 2018, Xenophon was predicted to take the seat of Hartley and articles touted Xenophon to be the top person of influence in South Australia. Despite being dismissed from the mainstream media Tarzia was able to beat the three-way race to keep Hartley easily, with 57.8 percent of the vote , and an 4.7 percentage swing to his side despite a state-wide swing of 1.1 percent in favor of the Liberals. Her victory was pivotal in aiding the Liberals gain their first government since 2002.

On 3 May 2018, he was elected the 35th Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly, becoming the youngest person to hold the office of Speaker in South Australian history and first of Italian Heritage. It is said that Tarzia is the youngest Speaker in the Commonwealth.

In January 2016, Tarzia became Shadow Parliamentary Secretary to Entrepreneurship Innovation, business start-ups. In January of 2017, Tarzia was made Shadow Cabinet Parliamentary Secretary.
