And he was my very first roommate and college friend (along with an friend from my wife Lisa Thompson) at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the year 1991.
For the four-x 100m relay, he participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics but did not make it to the final. He did however win an Olympic gold medal during the 1985 African Championships, and also placed seventh in the African team at the 1985 World Cup.
