Timothy Craig Hulett, Jr. (also known as Tug) (born on February 28th 1983) is an American professional baseball player who was a former second baseman. He was a part of Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and the Kansas City Royals.
The 15th of February, 2009 Hulett was assigned to assignment to allow for newly-claimed pitcher Luis Pena from the Milwaukee Brewers He was subsequently taken over to Kansas City Royals Kansas City Royals four days afterward.
On August 15, 2010, he signed a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners and was assigned to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.
On April 23, 2011, Hulett signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals and was assigned to the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs.
In November of 2009 Hulett was transferred for the Boston Red Sox for a player to be named in the future and cash compensation. On August 8, 2010, Hulett was released by the Red Sox released him.

A .332 player at Auburn University, he played college summer baseball for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2003. Hulett was selected to the Texas Rangers in the 14th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft. Hulett was a.274 hitter .274 in his 70 games with single-A Spokane Indians in 2004. In 2005 Hulett was elevated to Single-A Clinton LumberKings, where he hit .265 and was an All-Star mid-season. He began 2006 playing in Single-A Bakersfield before moving to Double-A Frisco RoughRiders. He was a member of the Oklahoma RedHawks in 2007, hitting .272 in the 132 games. On the 12th of December, 2007 the team traded him for the Seattle Mariners for Ben Broussard.
Hulett began the year with Triple-A Tacoma. After hitting .302 in seven game, Hulett was called up by the Mariners on July 10 following being released from struggling First Baseman Richie Sexson. Hulett played in one game in Seattle and went 3 for 3, and was then sent back to the Rainiers on July 18 , when the Mariners invited First Baseman Bryan LaHair.
On December 23, 2010, Hulett signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies. He was released on April 7, 2011.
