Tommy Tee is one of the most popular and richest Record Producer who was born on December 18, 1971 in Oslo, Norway. Tommy Flaaten (born 18 December 1971) is best known under the screen name Tommy Tee, is a Norwegian record producer DJ, rapper, broadcaster record executive as well as a magazine publisher and concert promoter. He is regarded as the father of Norwegian hip hop. Tee is the owner of his own label Tee Productions that operates within Oslo, Norway and is Norway’s top hip hop label. In addition, he is the publisher of Norway’s only graffiti magazine , and hosts an e-radio show that is a weekly national program.

It was 1992 when Danish business Mega Records was appointed in 1992 by the Danish company Mega Records Tee the position of the company’s Norwegian sales director. Norwegian’s broadcaster NRK provided him with the opportunity to host a show at primetime on its brand new P3 network. The show is dubbed “National Rap Show” and is still on air. The show quickly became popular and has had guest performers like Snoop Dogg and Big Pun, as well as Big Pun, the Roots as well as Big Pun. DJ Herkules is the co-host of the show that is the longest-running show to date.

Tee’s first album Bonds Beats and Beliefs was released in 1998 becoming Norway’s most successful hip hop record. It featured Talib Kweli on the track “Day by Day” which was released as a single in the US. While the album was not officially released in the US, it did have a following on college radio and in hip hop magazines and also received reviews in Australia, England, Germany, Sweden and Denmark.

The T.P. Allstars album also featured a collaboration between Swedish artist Petter and TP artist Diaz on the track “Crossing Borders” which was a top ten hit in Scandinavia in 1999. In return, Tee produced two tracks on Petter’s album Bananrepubliken which went platinum and won three Swedish Grammy awards in 2001.
