Thomas Samuel Field (born February 22nd in 1987) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He was a player for Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Texas Rangers.
In November 2nd, 2012, he was removed from on waivers by Minnesota Twins.
Field began 2013 with the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees. On April 20, Field was recalled when Mark Lowe was placed on the disabled list, but was optioned back to Salt Lake 3 days later when Nick Maronde was recalled. On July 20, Field was recalled to replace Brendan Harris, who was designated for assignment.
He was signed by the Texas Rangers on December 16, 2014, to a minor league contract. Field made his Rangers’ debut on May 11, 2015 against the Kansas City Royals and hit his first career homerun in the same game. He hit another homer on May 16, 2015 against the Cleveland Indians. He was designated for assignment by the Rangers on May 30.
Field began his 2010 season as a Double-A Tulsa Drillers, where in the course of 134 games, Field batted .271 and had 17 home runs and 60 RBI as well as 9 SB. The 11th of September Field was promoted for the Rockies. His debut was made on that day and scored the first strike in the third match (second start) with hitting a single off Shaun Marcum. In his 16 games with the Rockies during the season He scored .271 which included 3 RBI.

Field was selected from the Colorado Rockies in the 24th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft out of Texas State University. Field was assigned to the Short-Season Tri-City Dust Devils. during 56 games, Field scored .247 and had 5 hits, 32 RBI and 31 RBI as well as 10 SB.
