Adewole (born on 14th October 1995) is an American professional soccer player currently playing as a centre back with Saint Louis FC in the USL Championship.

Adewole made his debut for the professional team on July 4 when he played as a player for the Riverhounds in their 1-3 defeat to Charlotte Independence. The following season was April 14th, the 14th of April, Adewole was the first player to score a professional strike in an 1-0 win against Ottawa Fury FC at Highmark Stadium.

During the 2019 season, Adewole started almost every match for the Riverhounds, forming a formidable partnership with Joseph Greenspan and Thomas Vancaeyezeele in defense. He scored his first goal of the season on March 23 against Swope Park Rangers, his 71st-minute goal being the equalizer in a 2–2 game.

Adewole can participate for the United States and Nigeria. In April of 2018 Adewole stated that “I want to play for Nigeria. I’m just 22 and believe I can contribute a lot to the national team.”

The family was born in Cheverly, Maryland, Adewole played for a variety of youth soccer teams, including Olney BGC, Bethesda SC as well as Potomac SC. 2013 was the year that Adewole was enrolled in George Washington University and was a part of the university’s soccer team, known as the George Washington Colonials. While at George Washington University, Adewole also played for the Jersey Express of the USL Premier Development League in the year 2016 with four games.
