On November 28, 2018, Polo signed a minor league agreement for the Seattle Mariners. The season started playing for Tacoma Rainiers. Tacoma Rainiers of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. Polo got released from the Mariners organization on April 19, 2019 after being banned for 25 games from the Pacific Coast League for spiking El Paso Chihuahuas first baseman Alex Dickerson during a game on April 17.. In spite of this, Polo claimed that it was an accident that resulted from having his head down and not being able to be able to see Dickerson’s foot.
