When he was in 1986 Feehan took part in a contest to write songs arranged by the producer David Foster (Celine Dion, Whitney Houston) taking first place. He was signed by Scotti Bros/CBS Los Angeles where he relocated in the following year. Tim Feehan’s self-titled debut album Tim Feehan was released in 1987. It won five A.R.I.A. (Alberta Recording Industry Association) awards, including “Best Pop Performance” and “Producer of the Year”. The debut track “Where’s the Fire” was selected as the theme song to The Wraith, a Charlie Sheen motion picture and the cult hit The Wraith. It was 1987 when Tim was also awarded his Canadian Academy of Arts & Sciences Juno Award for “Most Promising Male Vocalist”.

In 1996, Feehan released the album Pray for Rain, and co-wrote and produced the critically acclaimed “The Color of Silence” for quadruple platinum selling teen pop star Tiffany.
