He was the son born to Sanguan Sahawong and Phitsamai Sahawong. There are two siblings. He graduated from the secondary school at Buriram Pittayakhom High School. He was acquitted of the education test to the university class as his studies in secondary five. and he completed his education in the university classes at Chandrakasem Rajabhat University.
He had got Dengue fever in 2015. He was admitted to a private hospital prior to being transferred to the hospital and then admitted to Ramathibodi Hospital. Despite the efforts of his medical staff, including an artificial heart-lung machines and an amputation of an ankle He was afflicted by his disease and died on January 18, 2016 at 35 years old.
He got married to Wanda Mutthasuwan, Taekwondo sportspeople and journalists in 2013 after a friendship of 10 years. The couple has a daughter named Phakwan “Mali” Sahawong, who was born on the 24th of October 2013.
