Thomas Rosenboom (born 8 January 1956 in Doetinchem) is a Dutch writer of novels and short stories. His novels Gewassen Vlees and Publieke werken have won his the Libris Prize in 1995 and 2000. He is the only writer to win it twice.
Rosenboom was educated as a secondary school student in Arnhem and later studied psychology in Nijmegen and after three years he switched to Dutch language and linguistics earning his degree cumlaude in 1983. His debut novel as an author was a novella called Bedenkingen that he released in the magazine of literary De Revisor. The collection of his in 1983, De Mensen thuis that included Bedenkingen was awarded his the Lucy B. en C.W. van der Hoogtprijs. His debut novel was the 1985 crime thriller Vriend van verdienste.
