Pinault signed with Conference Premier club Crawley Town on a one-year deal at the end of July 2007. With successive extensions of one year to the contract, Pinault was in Crawley Town’s Broadfield Stadium for three seasons and played more than 110 times for Crawley Town. Pinault did not sign an extension of his contract and left Crawley at the close during the 2010-2011 season.
After missing a whole year of football due to an ankle ligament injury Pinault was able to return England sign a one-year deal for League One club Brentford on the free transfer of July 2006. Despite being transferred-listed by the new director Scott Fitzgerald in December 2006 and staying in Griffin Park throughout the entirety of the 2006-07 season. He played 37 times and scored one goal. The club released him in June 2007 following Brentford’s demotion into League Two was confirmed.

A member of the Cannes youth academy, Pinault moved to England to join Second Division club Colchester United as a free-transfer at the end of June. After only making 10 appearances in his initial two seasons on Layer Road, he broke into the first-team squad in 2001-02 and signed a two-and-a-half year contract in the month of October 2001. He stayed at Colchester United until his contract was up at the close of the 2003-04 season in which time he been involved in 157 games and scored seven goals for the club.
After a disappointing test with Dundee United and turning down the offer of a contract with Northampton Town, Pinault signed an one-year deal at League Two club Grimsby Town through a transfer on a no-cost basis during July of 2004. Pinault had a steady place player in the team in the 2004-05 campaign, making 7 goals and 47 games however his relations with coach Russell Slade deteriorated after he was “singled-out for criticism” by Slade due to his defensive play during a draw with Notts County late in the season. Early in the 2010–11 season, Pinault returned to France to join hometown Championnat de France Amateur 2 club RC Grasse. He remained at the Stade Jean Girard until his retirement at the end of the 2012–13 season.
