Rebecca Young retired. The district’s number was changed when Assembly districts were drawn in the year 2011. The 77th District runs from Middleton to the northwest, to Monona within the southwest. It encompasses the region of Madison surrounding Madison’s University of Wisconsin campus and the Shorewood Hills Village.
