Telmo Languiller is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on July 31, 1957 in Montevideo, Montevideo Department, Uruguay. Telmo Ramon Languiller-Tornesi (born 31 July 1957) is an Australian politician from Australia. It was the Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 until 2018, and represented those in the constituencies of Sunshine (1999-2002), Derrimut (2002-2014) and Tarneit (2014-2018). Since the end of December, 2014, Languiller served as the Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, but was forced to quit in March 2017 after the claim of an additional house allowance. While he was entitled to this allowance, it didn’t pass to meet the criteria of public opinion. Languiller was required to pay the allowance back from the premier. He is currently the director of Melbourne Victory Football Club’s department for international relations.
In August of 2017, Languiller announced he was taking a break from politics and that he would not run in the 2018 election.
After an election for the Daniel Andrews Labor government at the 2014 state elections, Languiller was elected Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly.

From 1993 until 1996, Languiller was the electorate official for the then Vice Prime Secretary Brian Howe, and became Chief of Staff to Andrew Theophanous in 1996 until 1999.
The year 1999 saw him chosen to be his Labor campaigner for the secure seat in Sunshine in 1999, replacing Ian Baker whom he had lost in the preselection and was elected. The seat was demolished in 2002, and was replaced by Derrimut in 2003, which Languiller was elected. In 2002, he was named as the Secretary to Parliament for Community Services, and he was elected as the Acting Speaker in 2004. In 2006, he took on the position of Parliamentary Secretary to Multicultural Affairs position, and the position was later transferred moved to Human Services in 2007.
In February 2017, The Age newspaper reported that Languiller had claimed $37,678 in second residence allowances to live in Queenscliff, a considerable distance from his western suburbs electorate of Tarneit. Languiller acknowledged that claiming the allowance had not met “community standards”, and offered to repay the money. On 25 February, he resigned as speaker. In January 2018, Victoria Police announced it had conducted an investigation into the allowance claims of Languiller and deputy speaker Don Nardella, and found insufficient evidence to charge either man with an offence.
