Taylor David Moore (born 12 May 1997) is an English footballer who is a player for Blackpool in loan with Bristol City. He is a defensive player, either in the right-back or the centre-back position.
The 2015-16 campaign saw Moore was a regular at the team for five games. However, his first-team chances were cut off when his displeasure with manager Kombouare and was relegated to the reserve squad. However, Moore was the subject of an EUR10 million transfer offer from Lyon during January’s transfer window. The bid was rejected however RC Lens rejected the bidand demanded EUR15 millions instead. Moore was set to depart the club at the end of January’s transfer window, however, there was no move for him, so Moore remained at the club until the end part of the campaign.
On 25 August 2016, Moore signed for Championship club Bristol City on a three- year contract for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £1.5m. Upon joining the club, Moore revealed that then-teammate Tammy Abraham played a role in helping him join Bristol City. He made his debut in a EFL Cup match away to Fulham, in which Bristol City won 2–1.
Ahead of the 2016–17 season, Moore’s future at RC Lens became uncertain and found himself linked with a move back to England, with Bristol City, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace keen on signing him. Amid the transfer speculation, Moore was expected to fight for a first team place under the new management of Alain Casanova.
After advancing throughout an RC Lens’ academy, Moore signed his first professional contract with the club on the 8th of December 2014.
