Tatiana Lysenko is one of the most popular and richest Artistic Gymnast who was born on June 23, 1975 in Kherson, Ukraine. Tatiana Felixivna Lysenko (Ukrainian: Tetiana Feliksivna Lysenko born 23rd June 1975) is a Soviet and Ukrainian former gymnast who played her final athletic career between 1990 and 1994. Lysenko was a part of the Soviet Union team during the beginning of the 1990s, a time in which the pool of talent was large (the USSR never lost the team competition for women at the Olympic Games).

Lysenko kept competing internationally in 1994. She finished 18th in the all- around competition at the World Championships in Brisbane. In the finals of the event she finished fourth on vault. She retired following her participation in the World Championships.

Contrary to the majority among her Soviet teammates, Lysenko opted to continue after the dissolution of the USSR and she represented her home country of Ukraine in the 1993 World Championships in Birmingham. She took silver in the overall event, which could be the gold medal had she not come off from the floor. Lysenko was one of the two former Soviets competing on the podium, along alongside Oksana Chusovitina (representing Uzbekistan).

Lysenko was born in Kherson, Ukrainian SSR, and has a Jewish Ukrainian background. She started gymnastics at seven and made her debut as a senior in 1990, winning an all-around championship in the World Cup. The following year, she was chosen as a representative for the world championships at Indianapolis which she was the winner of the team competition. She qualified for the all- around contest, ahead of her highly skilled teammates Oksana Chusovitina Rozalia Galiyeva and Natalia Calinina however she fell off the beams and didn’t take home any individual medals.

Her most notable feats were in her participation in the her participation in the 1992 Summer Olympics at Barcelona. She was part of in the Unified Team (ex-Soviets) along with Svetlana Boguinskaya, Tatiana Gutsu, Elena Grudneva, Rozalia Galiyeva and Oksana Chusovitina. They took home the team title with a substantial margin. Lysenko was 7th in the all-around competition and won the gold medal at vault after completing one of the toughest vaults of the entire competition. She did it by twin-winning Yurchenko (9.912). Lysenko later won gold in the beam competition (9.975).

After retiring from competitions Lysenko moved to the United States and now lives in California. She graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and was admitted the California State Bar in 2005. In 2002, she was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2016 into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. She is married and has a daughter.
