Ranked thirty-seven at the Wimbledon Championships, Paszek upset former world No. 1 and seventh seed Caroline Wozniacki in the first round. This match lasted 3 hours and 12 minutes. In the second round, she beat Alizé Cornet. Then, she defeated Yanina Wickmayer in the third round and twenty-first seed Roberta Vinci in the fourth round to reach the quarterfinals for the second year in a row. Paszek lost in her quarterfinal match for the second successive year to second seed Victoria Azarenka.
As as a junior, Paszek was a finalist in the Girls’ Singles Competition held at Wimbledon as well as at her first US Open girls’ singles in 2006.
