Takashi Kiyama is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on February 18, 1972 in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Kiyama was born in Itami on the 18th of February 1972. After graduating from the University of Tsukuba He was a part of Gamba Osaka from 1994. He was a regular center back in the in the first season. However, his chances to play was reduced due to injuries that occurred in 1995. The year 1998 saw him relocated into Consadole Sapporo and played in one season. In May 1999 the club was joined by Japan Football League club Mito HollyHock. He was a regular in the center position while the team elevated into J2 League from 2000. He played as a central defense player until 2002. He retired at the end of the 2002’s season.

Kiyama was back at Vissel Kobe as assistant coach in 2013.

On 29 November 2016, Kiyama was named manager of Montedio Yamagata.

Kiyama managed the club of J2 team JEF United Chiba at 2012 season. However, after JEF was not able to secure promotion to J1 Kiyama was let go from the club on the 28th of November, 2012, however Kiyama continued to manage the club until they lost against Kashima Antlers on 2012 Emperor’s Cup in the quarterfinals.
