They have three kids, one daughter Blanka with two brothers, Domonkos and Csaba. Szandi is a committed Christian and was converted to Christianity at the age of 12 and was baptized at the age of twelve years old.
The single from her 1996 album Yodeling’s On the Scene was produced by an Danish producer duo, Hartmann & Langhoff, famous for their work on Me & My. The single came out under the English name, Sandi as well as being her first hit in the English language. The following year, 1997 she released her debut album in English, Dancing Flame. The second single in English You Never Know also achieved the success it deserves.

Szandi was found by Miklos Fenyo a well-known Hungarian musician and rock artist who was introduced by her older sister Viki (also an accomplished singer).
