Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on November 6, 1956 in Multan, Pakistan. He holds a degree from the master of science (Hons) that he earned in the year 1980 from University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He received the Diploma (L.G) from the Foreign Ministry Institute, Denmark in 1993.

He was elected as a member of his position in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a member of the National Alliance from Constituency PP-213 (Khanewal-II) in 2002 Pakistani general elections. He won 26,462 votes and beat a candidate from Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q). In the month of January, 2003, the candidate was sworn to the Provincial Punjab Cabinet of the chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi . He was appointed the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Urban Education Non-formal. The year 2006 saw him became the Province Minister for Punjab to provide Food. While he was a an elected member in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and also as Provincial Minister for Punjab in the area of Local Government.

He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as an independent candidate from Constituency PP-213 (Khanewal-II) in 2013 Pakistani general election. He joined Pakistan Muslim League (N) in May 2013.

On 12 September 2018, he was inducted into the provincial Punjab cabinet of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. On 13 September 2018, he was appointed as Provincial Minister of Punjab for Management and Professional Development.

Prior to that as a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 1993 until May 2018.
