Mexican poet and activist for women’s rights in the latter half of the twentieth century and early twenty-first century. Her most famous work was the activism she led, that sought to end the murders of a large number of women from Juarez, Mexico.
She and fellow native Mexican poet Alurista were activists.
Her family was of her home in Colonia Cuauhtemoc district of Ciudad Juarez.
