Tuck was able to make 93 appearances in the league with one goal and captaining Albion at a number of times. He was a left-back for the last game of the season at the Goldstone Ground, against Doncaster Rovers in 1997. He in the following week, played all ninety minutes of the game against Hereford United in the game that established Albion’s status an official Football League team. Tuck was absent for the final few weeks of 1997/98 season due to an injury to the groin which required surgery. He was a part of Brighton’s initial three fixtures of the 1998-99 season however, those were his final games on the Football League level. The specialist advised him to “take things easy” as recovering from operation, and ultimately being unable to play full- time football.

He rejoined Bognor Regis Town ahead of the 2009–10 season, announced his retirement from the game in October, and signed for Eastbourne Town in January 2010.
