Steve Raible is one of the most popular and richest Journalist who was born on June 2, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Steven Carl Raible (born June 2nd 1954) is a weekly news anchor at KIRO 7 in Seattle, Washington and the play-by-play radio announcer on behalf of the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was a member of the Seahawks for six seasons.

In his time as a player, Raible did broadcasting and public appearances in the off-season. As he was preparing for the seventh NFL game, Raible was offered an opportunity to become the color analyst on the Seahawks broadcasts on radio with Pete Gross; he accepted and resigned from the team. He was also an sports reporter for KIRO-TV and is now serving as an anchor of the News Team.

Raible also hosts the TV coverage of the Seafair hydroplane races and Blue Angels airshow during the first weekend of August each year in Seattle. He shaved his famous mustache in March 2008, due to the switch to High definition for KIRO 7.

In the final season of his career, Raible incurred a collapsed lung during his second game of preseason the middle of August. He was unable to return for two months, up to six games of regular-season play. Raible was not in the chart of depth, and only caught one pass in the 1981 season.

Raible was born and lived within Louisville, Kentucky, Raible graduated from Trinity High School in 1972 (and was the first Trinity High School alumnus to make it into the professional football league). He played for the college team Georgia Tech in Atlanta, as tight end in the wishbone offense.

The first player of the new Seattle Seahawks, Raible was selected in the second round of the 1996 NFL draft (59th overall). He was a the position of wide receiver over six years between 1976 and 1981, under the direction of head trainer Jack Patera.

After 22 seasons in the analyst role, Raible became the lead play-by-play radio announcer for the Seahawks (the “Voice of the Seahawks”) in 2004 on flagship stations KIRO-AM 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, where his catchphrases include “Are you kidding me?!” and “Holy catfish!” He is teamed with former Seahawk Dave Wyman who currently serves as the color commentator for the Seattle Seahawks.
