Stephen John Pisarkiewicz (born November 10 1953) is an ex-professional American footballer who was a quarterback. Pisarkiewicz was a player in the NFL, CFL, USFL and British leagues during his time in the game.
When 1982 began, Pisarkiewicz got picked by The Winnipeg Blue Bombers. But his time in Winnipeg was short and he quickly returned into the US.
In 1986, Pisarkiewicz and a friend went to the United Kingdom and played for the Cardiff Tigers in the Welsh capital. The then-33 year old served as the team’s coach, general manager, player personnel director, marketing director and starting quarterback. In 1987, the Tigers finished 7-5, and in 1988, Pisarkiewicz threw 44 passing touchdowns.
After his departure from St. Louis, Pisarkiewicz played in one game during 1981 with The Green Bay Packers.

After finishing his education at McCluer High School, located in Florissant, Missouri, Pisarkiewicz was scouted by Tennessee but later joined the Missouri Tigers and was regarded as the top quarterback in Missouri after Paul Christman and drew attention from NFL Scouts. As of 1975, Pisarkiewicz was the top player in to the Big 8 with passing yards while he was the second player in touchdowns by passing.
Pisarkiewicz was picked 19th by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1977 NFL draft at the urging from the owner Bill Bidwill. As a candidate to take over the start-up job from older Jim Hart, he failed to impress the head Coach Bud Wilkinson and started just four games during his first season at St. Louis.
Pisarkiewicz spent 1983 with the Philadelphia Stars but again found playing time limited. He was given two years probation in the same year after pleading guilty to an incident of indecent exposure in Clayton, Missouri.
