He played in 16 games (7 starts), registered 49 tackles and led all Cowboys defensive backs with 14 passes defensed.
On the 28th of July, 2011 the player had been signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent. He was released on September 3 and signed on the following day for the training team. The team released him on the 26th of September.

On the 10th of December in 2011 Moore was let go from New England. On December 14 of 2011 Moore was signed on the Patriots practice squad. On the 23rd of December, 2011 Moore was elevated to the roster active. The first day of January, 2012 during the 17th week in the season 2011-12 NFL season Moore scored 2 interceptions in the game against Buffalo Bills, returning one for the score of a touchdown. In the final moments of the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens Moore smashed Lee Evans’ arm, stopping a possible touchdown. If Moore had not made that catch, Evans probably would have taken the ball and sent Ravens Ravens towards their first Super Bowl. Following the pass that was not completed, Billy Cundiff missed a game-winning field goal, and the Patriots won 23-20. He was awarded the AFC Championship ring.
On the 5th of October in 2011, he was drafted on October 5, 2011 by the New England Patriots to their practice team. The following day, he re-signed to the roster of active players and was able to make his NFL debut against the New York Jets on November 13 and played every minute as a security with the Patriots.
On October 31, 2012, he was waived and re-signed to the Patriots practice squad two days later.
