After the release of The Sweater Book, Mosher took a break from photography to concentrate on his passions in fitness, health and fitness as well as blogging. Mosher returned to his photography in 2010 , and blogs on topics like the arts and fitness, losing weight, bodybuilding photography spirituality, addiction, and spirituality.

In 2014 Mosher completed his course of study and is now an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard. From 2013 to 2017 Mosher was a contributing columnist for the internet magazine EDGE, as well as providing content for the EDGEONTHENET website, on the subject of Health and Fitness.

Mosher was raised in Dallas, Texas to a businessman and artist. Mosher is the second child of four kids and was educated in Europe first in Portugal in the schools of St. Dominics and St. Columbans; later, in Switzerland at The International School of Zurich and The International School of Berne. Mosher was back in America in 1982, and then attended Tarrant County Junior College and North Texas State University, where he met his wife, Pat Dwyer, in 1985. In 1993, the couple relocated to Texas in New York City, where they remain.

Mosher’s childhood ambition of becoming an actor was thwarted in 1988 when he made the decision to quit performing and made his passion for photography his main occupation. While in Dallas, Mosher worked doing photographs of the theater community in his hometown, headshots, publicity stillsand photographs of performances. In 1993, Dwyer and Mosher relocated into New York so that Mosher could work on a project he dubbed The Sweater Book. The idea was to create a book of images of people sporting the same sweater. Mosher’s goal was to put the collection together in the form of a book and donate the proceeds to charities dealing with AIDS/HIV. In 2003, The Sweater Book appeared in released in 2003 by Thomas Dunne Books. The book contains photos of hundreds of people including Whoopi Goldberg Laura Linney, Glenn Close, Christopher Meloni, Noah Wyle, Maggie Smith, Jason Alexander, Stephen Collins, Sela Ward, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jane Krakowski, Hugh Laurie, Kristin Chenoweth Bryan Cranston, Swoosie Kurtz, Tim Allen, Loretta Devine, Ryan Phillippe, Mary Steenburgen Ted Dansen, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, Carol Burnett and many others. In the course of making The Sweater Book, Mosher was bicoastal and worked both in New York and Hollywood where the photographer was hired as a staff member at Noah Wyle’s Blank Theatre Company.

In 2011, Mosher and his husband, Pat Dwyer, celebrated 25 years together by traveling to every jurisdiction in America where same sex marriage is legal and getting married. Their adventure was captured by filmmaker Allan Piper and was being turned into the documentary Married and Counting. Mosher and Dwyer hoped to use the film and their YouTube channel to help promote gay rights and marriage equality. The film, Married and Counting is narrated by George Takei and features original music by Jennifer Houston and had its premiere in 2013.
