Ochs was a member of the club team Surf Soccer and helped lead the team to win the Surf Cup Championship in 2006. She was also a part of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and was an ODP Regional Pool participant in the years 2005 and 2006. and an OPD State Team member during the same period. Ochs scored eight assists and six goals to score the team’s highest that was 20 goals. In her junior year in 2010, Ochs played and started in all 21 games. She was named All-WCC First-Team and was the team’s leader by scoring a record-setting eight goals. She added seven assists, a team-high of 23 points. Ochs was a member of the United States under-23 women’s national soccer team that won the Four Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain in 2013. In 2013, she was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, she played the tournament in the position of forward.
