Sten Sokk is one of the most popular and richest Estonian basketball player who was born on February 14, 1989 in Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia. His father, Tiit Sokk, is a basketball coach and former pro basketball player. He took home the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in his Soviet Union national basketball team. His brother, Tanel, is also an elite basketball player who is a member of the Estonian national basketball team around the world.
Sokk was a player on the Estonian national basketball team for under-18s which played in 2007’s FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship and placed 12th position.
In September 2012, he signed for Olimpi Tbilisi of the Georgian Superliga. Olimpi Tbilisi finished the 2012–13 season as runners-up.
On 3 August 2013, Sokk signed for Universitatea Craiova of the Liga Națională.
The year 2006 was the first time Sokk became a member of Dalkia/Nybit, being coached by his father. He was awarded the KML Most Outstanding Young Player twice more , in 2007 and 2008.

Sten-TimmuSokk (born on 14th February, 1989) is an Estonian professional basketball player who plays for Kalev/Cramo in the Latvian-Estonian league. The player is 1.84 m (6 feet 0 inches) high point guard. He plays for the Estonian basketball team in international competitions.
Sokk began playing basketball at his father’s Tiit Sokk’s basketball school. He began his professional career in 2005 with Noortekoondis/Audentes of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. In his debut season with the KML, Sokk averaged 7.04 points per game. He also won the KML Best Young Player Award.
On 5 August 2008, Sokk joined TÜ/Rock, where he signed for the next four seasons. With TÜ/Rock, he won his first Estonian Championship in the 2009–10 season, after TÜ/Rock defeated Rakvere Tarvas 4 games to 2 in the finals and was named to the All-KML Team in the 2010–11 season.
