Phillip Perry “Sparky” Woods (born on December 20th 1953) is a famous American soccer coach. He is the senior advisor for the football team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Woods was the director of football in Appalachian State University from 1984 until 1988, at and the University of South Carolina from 1989 to 1993, as well as from 1989 to 1993, and the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) from 2008 until the year 2014.
