Sokratis Dioudis (Greek: Sokrates Dioudes ; born on February 3, 1993) is a Greek professional footballer who is goalkeeper for Panathinaikos and also for the Greece national team.

On June 25, 2015 after a season which Dioudis didn’t play and was merely the backup goalie ahead of Mathew Ryan. Dioudis signed with Greek team Panionios to play on loan during the season 2015-16 before returning to Superleague Greece. On November 28, 2015 the club made his debut for Panionios in the Superleague with an 2-0 victory at home in a 2-0 home win against PAS Giannina. On December 12, 2015, he played the 1-1 draw at home against AEK Athens for the Superleague made 50 appearances during his professional career across every competition. After an impressive 2015-16 season The officials from the side are content about the world-class goalie’s performance and are doing whatever they can to keep him at the club. At the end of the 2017–18 season, many were worried with him as the first choice this season following the departure of Odysseas Vlachodimos to Benfica, but Dioudis has proved to be an outstanding replacement and credit is given to Panathinaikos’ coach Giorgos Donis for turning the player from last season’s inconsistent displays to a keeper who commands his area well and makes extraordinary saves.

On 25 July 2017, after only a year with Aris, the talented Greek goalkeeper will most likely continue his career at Panathinaikos, since the two clubs agreed terms. The Greens will pay an estimated amount of €150,000 in order to complete the purchase of 24-year-old international, who is expected to sign three-season contract with manager Marinos Ouzounidis’ team and replace experienced Englishman Luke Steele.

On the 22nd of July, 2014. Dioudis transferred to Belgian huge Club Brugge on a two-years contract with an option to extend it for another season. He was named second goalie after his predecessor, the Australian national Mathew Ryan. Aris earns EUR200,000 through his goalkeeper’s transfer.

Dioudis has been promoted to senior Aris squad in the month of May of 2011 when Sakis Tsiolis was their coach. In his debut season as a professional (2011-12) Dioudis didn’t play in any game as he was a bit behind Michalis Sifakis and Markos Vellidis. In the 2012-13 season, as the second goalkeeper choice of Aris in the wake of his departure of Sifakis, Dioudis started in only the second gameday against OFI at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium, because of a disagreement between the goalkeeper who was the first player of the squad Markos Vellidis and the coach Makis Katsavakis. The game ended with a 0-0 draw.
