In the year 2016, Simone Saback releases another single called Maos Atadas which features the guitars and voices of her as well as Cassia Eller’s. The track is also an improvisation of their rehearsals on a cassette tape that was taken out to Simone’s home in 1982. The recording was digitalized and then arranged by Brazilian music producer Dillo Daraujo.

The song was released in 2012 and the previously unreleased track Flor do Sol – composed thirty years prior in partnership with Cassia Eller, and recorded on a cassette tape it was released as a single by the Porangarete label. The track was reworked with the help of Chico Chico (Eller’s son) with his involvement and Cassia’s former bandmates and collaborators, was made available on TV Globo’s “Fantastico”, to celebrate the day that Cassia Eller would have celebrated turning 50.

Simone is a native of Bahia and grew up in Brasilia. She began to compose when she was a teenager, and showed an innate talent for music with an diverse style. In the late 1970s she was asked by Alvim Barbosa who was then the director at Sala Funarte in Brasilia, to sing her first show.
