Tian began Neptune in January of 2013 when he was just 17 and still enrolled at Marianopolis College, a pre-university college (CEGEP) located in Westmount, Quebec. Prior to building a prototype or incorporating a business, Tian uploaded some concept drawings of a smartwatch, called the Neptune Pine, on a website that he designed using Weebly released an announcement on PRWeb to announce the launch of the product, along with the delivery dates and then received more than 20,000 inquiries for the product in just only a couple of weeks.
