Shuji Ishikawa (Shi Chuan Xiu Si Ishikawa Shuji born on September 25 1975) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently associated with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) which is where he was the former Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion and the winner of the Champion Carnival of 2017. Ishikawa made his debut for All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in 2015 and later in the month of September that year, he took part at the Odo Tournament, making it to the semi-finals, which he lost to Akebono. He was eliminated in the month of December. wrestled together with Hoshitango to compete in the Real World Tag League, having six points in the end, but not advancing beyond the group stages. On March 27 the 27th of March, 2016 Ishikawa and Hoshitango failed to take on Zeus as well as The Bodyguard to The Bodyguard to win the World Tag Team Championship. In April of 2017, Ishikawa took part in his first Champion Carnival, finishing first in his block and the highest of any participant in the event having scored 9 points. On April 30, 2017 Ishikawa beat Joe Doering to win the championship. In May, he beat Miyahara to take home the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his professional career. It was a loss to Miyahara on the 27th of August. He formed the alliance of Suwama in the last quarter of 2017. They referred to themselves as “Violence Giant”, the two joined into the World’s Strongest Tag Determination League in December. They beat Daichi Hashimoto as well as Hideyoshi Kamitani at the end of their finals in order to be victorious in the tournament. The following day they won their first World Tag Team Championship by beating Wild Burning (Takao Omori and Jun Akiyama). They handed the belts over in the hands of Kento Miyahara, and Yoshi Tatsu on the 3rd of February. They regained the belts on June 30 defeating Ryoji Sai as well as Dylan James. On the 27th of March 2011 at DDT’s 14th anniversary Show, Ishikawa won a battle royal, which gave him the chance to fight in an Openweight Championship KO-D match in the near future. Ishikawa won the title for the third time, in May 4th, 2011, beating Dick Togo. Ishikawa kept the title until July when he fell to Kudo in the Ryogoku Peter Pan. In 2016 Ishikawa was crowned his first KO-D Tag Team Championship for the first time in his professional career by teaming up together with Daisuke Sasaki to beat Konosuke Takeshita as well as Tetsuya Endo on the 21st of March.

After having a meeting with Sanshiro Takagi Ishikawa received an invitation to attend a test for DDT Pro Wrestling at the end of 2002. Even though he failed the test, Ishikawa was invited to be employed by the company and worked as a receptionist and accountant at DDT from 2002 to 2003. She also began sometimes training as a wrestler. After DDT was moved to JWP’s dojo in 2003 Ishikawa began to train more regularly. Because his DDT roster was getting a bit short due to wrestlers who were older retiring and injuries to others, Takagi bought Ishikawa up to the main roster, with only a few sessions in May. Ishikawa made his first appearance at 27 in a defeat in a match against Seiya Morohashi. At the beginning of his career and due to his size, Ishikawa dressed in red trunks, knee pads in red and black boots to tribute to Giant Baba. In the year 2004, Ishikawa was paired up with Poison Sawada Julie and joined in his Serpent Council stable. After not being able to make a mark during his initial career, Ishikawa began competing more frequently in DDT and then became regular in the DDT’s sister company Union Pro Wrestling, where the star gained a lot of attention because of his size. In 2007 Ishikawa was recognized as the top performer of UPW following the departure of Poison Sawada Julie quit the organization. Ishikawa was involved in high-profile fights against the Style-E’s Kyosuke Sasaki, and with Pro Wrestling Zero1’s Yoshihito Sasaki as well being a regular competitor in DDT with a disguise as Koo within the Hawaii Army stable. On June 3 in 2007, Ishikawa beat Harashima to claim the KO-D Openweight Champion title for the very first time. Ishikawa participated at his very first deathmatch, on January 2nd 2009, partnering alongside Ryuji Ito to face his childhood pals Takashi Sasaki as well as Yuko Miyamoto. Ishikawa went on to become a regular in BJW winning his first title in the organization in May of 2012 partnering together with Shigehiro Irie to beat Shinobu as well as Yoshihito Sasaki to take home the BJW World Tag Team Championship. Irie and Ishikawa retained the title until July after which they were defeated to defeat by Shinobu along with Yuji Okabayashi. Ishikawa defeated his long-time adversary Abdullah Kobayashi to become the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion on January 2nd in 2013, just four years after he participated in his first deathmatch. Ishikawa went on to retain the title for 11 months, before his defeat by Isami Kodaka. After losing in the final to Kodaka, Ishikawa announced that the team would not be participating in deathmatches and would instead concentrate on the stronger division. This year, Ishikawa made his debut significant success in the BJW’s strong division, beating Daisuke Sekimoto to take home the Ikkitosen Strong Climb tournament. In the following the same year Ishikawa joined forces with Kohei Sato to form”the “Twin Towers” with much victory, taking down the team consisting of Yuko Miyamoto, and Isami Kodaka in May 31st, 2014 to take home the BJW Tag Team Championships. Ishikawa and Sato have held the championship for 516 days until they lost to Yuji Okabayashi as well as Daisuke Sekimoto on the 29th of October in 2015. In the year 2016, Ishikawa was the winner of Ishikawa the Ikkitosen Strong Climb Tournament for the second time, beating Daichi Hashimoto as well as Hideyoshi Kamitani, in both the semi-finals and final in the same evening to take the title. Beginning in 2017, Ishikawa’s appearances in DDT began to decrease due to his commitments with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), however, he continues to make sporadic appearances.
