Hettimulla Appuhamilage Shashikala Dedunu Siriwardene (born 14 February 1985) in Colombo also commonly referred to as Shashikala Siriwardene is an Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain of the Sri Lankan women’s cricket team in WODIs. She is the sole female cricketer to score 100 ODI wickets during WODIs in Sri Lanka. Additionally, she is the sole female cricketer to have taken 100plus wickets and to score over 1000 runs in ODIs in Sri Lanka. She was a former student at the President’s College, Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte.
In October she was included in Sri Lanka’s team to play in the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. Prior to the tournament, she was ranked in the list of players who to keep an eye on. She was the second-highest in wicket taking in Sri Lanka in the tournament with four dismissals over three games. At the end of the competition, she received a selected as the most outstanding player in that team’s squad by International Cricket Council (ICC).
1. December 2016 she was awarded her the Sri Lanka Cricket awards for the Women’s All-rounder in ODI of the Year in 2016. In this year’s ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup she achieved the milestone of becoming the first female cricketer to participate in 100 WODI matches for Sri Lanka.

Siriwardene made her debut in ODI with the West Indies at Kingstown, St. Vincent in March 2003. She was averaging 2-20, and scored a quick 29 in the match that was eventually taken by Sri Lankans.
