Shahram Nazeri is one of the most popular and richest Tenor who was born on February 18, 1950 in Kermanshah, Iran. Shahram Nazeri (Persian: shhrm nZry Kurdish shaehrm nzry ; Kurdish pronunciation: [Saeh’ra’m Na:ze’ri (pronounced: ) ; Kurdish: Sehram Naziri; often referred to in the name of Shahram Nazeri; born 18 February 1950) is a contemporary Iranian Tenor of Kermanshah that sings in the classical genre. He has been joined with some greatest masters in Iranian traditional music, including Jalil Shahnaz, Hossein alizadeh, Jalal Zolfonoun, Parviz Meshkatian, and Faramarz Payvar. He also collaborated together with the son of his Hafez Nazeri, a composer.

In the early years, Nazeri began to sing and compose music for the work of Mawlana Jalal adDin Rumi the most revered of Iran’s Sufi poet. Nazeri was also the first to pioneer taking modern Persian poems into classical music repertoire. His innovative style of playing music resulted in collaborations with his son Hafez, composer and singer Nazeri. In 2000, they performed Hafez’s latest composition in Iran that holds records for being the highest attended concert with attendance of 140.000 in the entire Middle East. In 2005/06, Nazeri together with his son’s brand new Rumi group, created “In the Path of Rumi,” an extremely profitable North American tour which performed record-breaking sold-out shows, to great reviews. The venues comprised Los Angeles’ Kodak theater (12/11/05) which was the largest-attendance Persian classical music event in the world outside Iran.
