Lobera is a native of Zaragoza, Aragon. After being a success at Dosa Salesians as well as UFB Jabac Terrassa he signed with FC Barcelona in 1997, working through the youth program and then becoming coach of their C-team during 2006-2007, in the Tercera Division.
