Sebastien Vorbe is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on June 4, 1976 in Haiti. Sebastien Vorbe (born on June 4, 1976) is a Haitian soccer player and the cousin of the famous Haitian footballer Philippe Vorbe.
At the age of 24 years old, Vorbe signed an one-year contract as a player who was discovered on the 25th of April, 2000 to join the Los Angeles Galaxy, arguably one of the most successful clubs in Major League Soccer. Vorbe was noticed in the international arena in support of Haiti at the qualifier tournament held in Los Angeles and the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament in Miami and was able to play with the club in the preseason. Even though his predecessors had played in the now-defunct American leagues Vorbe is the first Haitian player (to Patrick Tardieu), to be a part of the MLS since its inception in 1993. He scored his first big league goal in the match against the defending MLS champion D.C. United leading Galaxy to victory by 2-1. After 19 appearances and 915 hours of playing with the Galaxy, Vorbe scored 4 goals in just 10 games this was the most scored of four newcomers in the team. One of the most memorable games was when Vorbe scored the game-winning goal in 50 minutes against an excellent Club Atletico Talleres, that was recently moved into the Argentine Primera Division after an impressive season.
Vorbe was a member of Haiti in 1999-2000. He scored the Haiti’s only goal in at the time of CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament.

Vorbe began his professional career playing in his club in the First Division in the Ligue Haitienne for the Violette AC, where he went on winning the nation’s title his first season in his 1994-1995 campaign.
The following the following year Vorbe participated in college football in Florida International University in 1997 and 1998. There, he scored 13 goals and 9 assists over 37 games. After two years in FIU, Vorbe returned to Haiti to play for Violette AC, only to take home his second national championship.
In January, 2001 Vorbe played in the 2000 CONCACAF Champions’ Cup, where Galaxy would defeat Honduran club, Olimpia in the finals and win its first title in the competition.
