Sean Crighton (born 26 March 1990) is a Scottish footballer who is a central defensive defender for Airdrieonians. Crighton started his career with St Mirren, and has also been a part of Montrose, Elgin City, Greenock Morton, Airdrieonians, Livingston and Brechin City.
After his time with the Diamonds after which he joined the Diamonds for a year with Livingston in which he was captain of Livingston towards winning the League One title, before joining the newly launched Scottish Championship side Brechin City in July of 2017. Crighton was released from Brechin at the conclusion year 2017-18.
On 3 May 2018, Crighton agreed a deal to return for a second spell at Airdrieonians.
Crighton later signed with his hometown team Greenock Morton in June 2014 and helped the club to win Scottish League One. Crighton was let go by Morton just after the league’s win after which he moved east to join Airdrieonians after only a month of not having an official club.

Crighton began his career as a junior player at Scottish Premier League club St Mirren and spent a season on loan at Montrose before making the move permanent into the team in June.
After three years and nearly 100 games, Crighton left Montrose to sign a two- year deal to Elgin City in 2012, playing two seasons for the club before being let go at the close of the 2013-14 campaign.
In April 2018, Crighton was promoted to head of the academy pathway at Greenock Morton. He left his role in August 2019, to take up coaching positions with the Airdrieonians first team and the Hamilton Academical youth academy.
