Sean Bowers is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 12, 1968 in San Diego, California, United States. Sean Patrick Bowers (born August 12 1968) is a retired U.S. soccer defender. He played the majority of his time playing indoor soccer, securing his 1992 NPSL Player of the Year award, four-time Defender of Year and a six-time First player All Star in four different indoor leagues. He also spent four seasons for the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer. He is currently playing in the San Diego Sockers of the Professional Arena Soccer League.

As of 1999, Bowers began his coaching career as an assistant for the William Jewell College the women’s soccer squad. This was the beginning the coaching journey of Bowers. Bowers started coaching at the professional level for the Detroit Rockers in 2000-2001. In that season, he worked as an assistant coach between playing. He was also an assistant coach in 2001. was the head coach for the Detroit Rocker Hawks, winners of the 2001 USASA Women’s U.S. Open Cup. The following year, the coach was an interim coach for Baltimore Blast. Baltimore Blast. At that time the Blast were in the lowest of the league. Bowers led them to playoffs, and the Blast won the MISL championship that year. In 2003 the Blast sold Bowers for the San Diego Sockers. In 2004, when Bowers moved to the southern part of California He was appointed an assistant coach for his California Baptist University ladies’ team between 2003 until 2005. He was promoted to head coach in the year 2006 which led to them achieving the end of season position of 9th within the NAIA. He was also named the chief coach for the San Diego SeaLions of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in the year 2006. The following year, the SeaLions reached their first WPSL semifinals. On the 27th of March 2007 Miramar College announced the creation of a women’s team with Bowers as coach.

As of 1991, Bowers joined in 1991, the San Diego Sockers of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). In the Sockers season opening game, at some time, he was transferred to the Detroit Rockers of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). He was named an NPSL Rookie of the Year in 1994. He was in the Rockers until the year 1995, and was awarded both 1994 as well as 1995 Defender of the Year awards. In addition to his time with the Rockers in 1993, Bowers also played a one-season stint in the Sacramento Knights of the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) an indoor summer league. He was awarded the CISL Defender of the year. Both in 1995 and the year 1996 Bowers returned to the CISL but this time playing in his team, the Anaheim Splash. It was the Kansas City Wiz of the outdoor Major League Soccer selected Bowers in the third round (26th overall) in the 1996 MLS’s inaugural Player Draft. He was a part of four seasons for the Wizards including serving as the captain of the team in 1999. He kept playing indoor soccer before going back to his former club, the Detroit Rockers in 1997. He was a part of and the Rockers up to 2001 at which point the team dissolved. In 2001 the Baltimore Blast selected Bowers in the dispersal draft. The following summer the NPSL was also merged with the brand new Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Bowers played two seasons with the Blast and won the league championship in 2003 together. On July 16, 2003, the Blast sold Bowers for the San Diego Sockers in exchange for Carlos Farias and the first and second selections of the Amateur Draft. Bowers played in 33 games for the Sockers between 2003 and 2005 and only played five games the following season, before the Sockers were shut down. Instead of pursuing his soccer professional career, Bowers decided to quit and settle down in his hometown and pursue his coaching career. The year 2009 saw him signed with the San Diego Sockers of the Professional Arena Soccer League.
