In the year 2017, Scott Terry recorded a live album and concert film with fellow musicians Eric Hall of Red Wanting Blue, Tim Warren and Eric Donnelly of The Alternate Routes to form the group ARWB. The band set off on a trip of three weeks of shows, playing reworked versions their own songs.

In 1996, during the college years, Terry founded and formed the group The Red Wishing Blue. The band went on to tour to record and tour with the group and perform more than 200 shows in a year.

Scott Terry was born in West Milford, New Jersey and is the middle son of three sons who were born to a teacher at a public school and an employee of the local township government. In 1985 the Terry family relocated from the city of Moorestown, New Jersey. He began singing in choirs and acappella groups throughout middle in high school and middle school. Terry went to university at Ohio University and graduated, with honors, and an honors degree in performance.

Terry has composed and recorded 12 albums including The Red-Winging Blues: Velveteen (1996), Image Trigger (1998), Model Citizen (2000), Sirens (2001) and souvenirs from City Life (2002), Pride: The Cold Lover (2004), The Warehouse Sessions (2006), These Magnificent Miles (2008 and re-released, The Magnificent Miles (2008 & re-release,), From The Vanishing Point (2011), Little America (2014), RWB20 Live at the Lincoln Theater (2016), The Wanting Lincoln Theater (2016) and The Wanting (2018).

Terry has performed live nationally with his band on The Late Show, VH1, has written music used in television and film, and was the subject of the feature film “RWB20: Live at The Lincoln Theater” celebrating the first 20 years of Red Wanting Blue’s career.
