On the 10th of December of 2014 The Los Angeles Angels signed Snodgress to a minor-league contract with an invitation to Spring Training 2015. Snodgress was released on July 27, 2015.
On August 31, 2014, the White Sox purchased his contract and promoted Snodgress to the major leagues. He made his major league debut on September 3 against the Minnesota Twins.
On April 8, 2016, Snodgress signed with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

The native from Yucaipa, California, Snodgress was a student at Yucaipa High School, and also played in the college baseball league on the campus of Stanford University. In 2010, he was a collegiate player in spring baseball for the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.
He was drafted by Chicago White Sox in the 5th round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He began his career as a player playing for the Rookie Level Great Falls Voyagers. Snodgress began the 2012 season in Class A Kannapolis Intimidators. He was later elevated to the Class A Advanced Winston-Salem Dash. He concluded the 2012 season with a total performance of 7-3 across 27 outings (27 starts) with 141 innings, 3.00 ERA, 112 hits as well as 64 walks. He also had 128 strikeouts.
On December 2, 2014, the White Sox declined to tender him a contract and he became a free agent.
