She played during the 2011 Asia Oceania Regional Championships and in the 2011 U25 World Championships in addition to in the 2012. BT Paralympic World Cup, participating in the final match against Germany.

Sarah Vinci (born 4 December 1991) is a one-point wheelchair basketball player with the Perth Western Stars in the Australian Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League. Her debut came on the Australia women’s wheelchair basketball national team, also known as the Gliders in the year 2011 during the Osaka Cup in Japan. Vinci was a part of Australia in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London in wheelchair basketball, securing the silver medal. Her most recent appearance on the international stage was in her 2013 Osaka Cup.
Vinci is a single score wheelchair basketball player. She began playing wheelchair basketball in 2006. Vinci began playing for with the Perth Western Stars in the Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League (WNWBL) in 2009 and has been playing with the team until this season. The year she was a player, the team took home an award for the junior league, known as the Kevin Coombs Trophy, after her team defeated opponents from the New South Wales side 63-58.
In the group stage, the Australia women’s national wheelchair basketball team at the 2012 Summer Paralympics posted wins against Brazil, Great Britain, and the Netherlands, but lost to Canada. This was enough to advance the Gliders to the quarter-finals, where they beat Mexico. The Gliders then defeated the United States by a point to set up a final clash with Germany. The Gliders lost 44–58, and earned a silver medal.
