In the process of negotiating an a fourth coalition government, under Merkel’s direction following the election for the federal parliament, Ryglewski participated in the group that dealt with legal and internal issues, headed by Thomas de Maiziere, Stephan Mayer and Heiko Maas. From 2018 until the end of 2019 she was the Parliamentary group’s representative for issues pertaining to consumer protections.
