Sandy Gandhi is one of the most popular and richest Australian comedian who was born on January 28, 1959 in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Sandy Gandhi (born Sandra Aranha 28 January 1959 – January 1, 2017) was an Australian columnist and comedian based at Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Byron Bay is Australia’s easternmost point and, as such, Gandhi declared herself “Australia’s Most Easterly Indian”. She was among two women who provided the inspiration behind The Little Heroes song, One Perfect Day as per the artist Roger Wells.
The show was able to select her for the semi-finals. The show was broadcast on the 11th of March, 2009.
Gandhi died suddenly at her home on 1 February 2017, reportedly while talking to a friend on the telephone.
Gandhi often performed stand-up comedy shows all over Northern New South Wales. She was also a part of 2009’s Melbourne Comedy Festival.
