Sandro Petrone is one of the most popular and richest Journalist who was born on February 2, 1954 in Naples, Italy. Sandro Petrone (2 February 1954 15 May, 2020) is an Italian anchorman and war correspondent in RAI, Italian State Radio and Television and worked as an editor of foreign news on TG2. He was an associate professor of Mass Communication and Journalism at the University of Rome La Sapienza as well as the University of Languages and Communication IULM in Milan and the author of a variety of publications. He began his career at the age of 18 as a copywriter for the family-owned advertising company, Octa Marketing and Communication (ASSAP – Assocomunicazione) and in this company, his own work gave life to the audiovisual industry. After his initial experiences at the private sector, he started his journalism career beginning with newspapers and then from 1979 onwards the radio station Rai where he ran programs and was involved in innovative initiatives, like Radiosoftware in 1982. This was the first attempt at radio broadcasting that utilized computers, and also created an interactive radio circuit that was able to interact with listeners. From 1987 onward the journalist has gained extensive global experience working for his role at the Brazilian Telemontecarlo (Rede Globo) as a foreign and home correspondents as well as anchorman and war reporter. He was hired by RAI from 1993, as an anchorman as well as a key foreign reporter. He has taught Mass Communication from 1989 both in Italy and around the world in several world-class universities and organizations including EJTA (European Journalist Training Association). The book he wrote, The Language of the News The tools and rules of journalism which was published by Rizzoli is currently at the second printing . He has developed a love to the performing arts especially in the areas of television and music from his early years as a an event planner and writer.

A few tracks were co-written together with Tony Cercola and all were recorded with Martino De Cesare who plays all guitars. Numerous young musicians were involved in the recording of this album between several Italian cities as well as New York, in more than twelve studios.

Petrone died in Rome on 15 May 2020, at the age of 65. He was battling with an illness since 2017.
