Sammy Brown (born April 17 the 17th of April, 1990) is an American football linebacker outside of the line who is currently an unsigned free agent. He was previously part of the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The team signed him by the Rams as a free agent who was not drafted in 2012. He played for the college team at Houston’s University of Houston after transferring from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Brown did not get invited to 2012’s NFL Scouting Combine, but was considered by a number of Scouts as a potential pass-rusher.

Added to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) roster on May 14, 2015. Released a month later, on June 15, 2015.

Brown signed onto the practice roster of the Ottawa Redblacks (CFL) on September 20, 2016; but was released on October 10, 2016. He was on and off the Redblacks roster for the remainder of the 2016 season and he was eventually released on April 10, 2017.

The 5th of May, 2012 Brown was officially appointed to the Rams as a free agent. After the 2012’s training camp, Brown had been released, with the goal of clearing waivers and being signed back to the practice team. But Brown was subsequently taken over to Miami Dolphins.
