Sally Timms is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on November 29, 1959 in Leeds, England, United Kingdom. Born to Leeds, England, in 1959, Timms recorded her first solo album, Hangahar (an experimental improvised film score) in her early 20s alongside Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks in the year 1980. Before being a part of The Mekons in 1986 she was in a group called The She Hees. She’s released a few other solo albums, such as Someone’s rocking My Dreamboat which came out in 1988. To the Land of Milk and Honey in 1995 as well as a country album entitled”Cowboy Sally’s Nighttime Laments for lost Buckaroos in 1998, which was released by Bloodshot Records in 1998. She chose the name “Cowboy Sally” after the character she played on TNT’s Rudy and GoGo Show. The album she recorded on her own In the World of Him was released on Touch and Go Records.

Timms often writes sloppy broadsheets about pop culture. She voiced SARA on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block, singing the first and second versions of the character from 1999 until 2007 along with Steven Blum, the voice of TOM. In 2006(?) Timms produced the very first one of five Christmas pantos held at The Hideout Bar in Chicago and also performed in several of them.

Timms performed “Give me Back my Dreams” on The Sixths’ Hyacinths and Thistles and has recorded with Marc Almond, The Aluminum Group Jon Rauhouse’s Steel Guitar Show, the Sadies, Andre Williams, and A Grape Dope. Timms was part of Vito Acconci’s Theater Project for a Rock Band as part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave Festival in 1995 and , as did The Mekons and the rest the members of The Mekons, performed with Kathy Acker in her lesbian pirate operetta Pussy The King of the Pirates at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago as well as other places. Timms performed a number of songs on The Pine Valley Cosmonauts’ The Executioner’s Final Songs album, that helped raise money for Illinois Moratorium Against the Death Penalty as well as participated in Jon Langford’s multi-media project, The Executioner’s Final Songs. She co-wrote the song “Horses that’s a Horse’, that was recorded by her along with Jon Langford on Songs of False Hope and High Values; by Palace Music, a.k.a. Bonnie Prince Billy; and by Chlorine.
