In 2002, she teamed up with Halliday in the double scull. Causby was awarded her 2nd World Championship title at Seville 2002. They continued to compete together until Milan 2003, and took home gold in double scull. She was injured in an intervertebral disc, and was required to take the year off, and thus miss an Olympic competition regatta.
Causby took part in the Australian national quad sculls lightweight championship in composite teams and wore her Adelaide colours four times , winning four wins in 2001, 2002, 2003 , and 2004.

Causby had her debut Australian Senior representative debut at 2000 World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne, Switzerland. In the following month, the same team took on the light quad scull in the 2000 World Rowing Championships in Zagreb, Croatia and Causby took home a silver medal, crewed alongside Amber Halliday, Eliza Blair and Catriona Roach. The following year, at Lucerne 2001 the crew that included Blair swapped out for Josephine Lips won the gold medal as well as the world lightweight quad scull championship title. They also set two world records during the process.
Causby was a racer in the South Australian representative women’s lightweight quad sculls, who competed in the Victoria Cup at the Interstate Regatta in 2001 and 2002 (to winning as stroke) and 2003 (to the tune of a convincing 7 second victory).
