Sainey Touray is one of the most popular and richest Gambian footballer who was born on February 8, 1990 in Gambia. Sainey “Ballack” Touray (born on February 8, 1990, at Serrekunda) is Gambian footballer who played with Austin Aztex.
On March 25 in 2010, on success of a dazzling season-opener, American second tier club Carolina RailHawks signed Touray for their USSFD2 season in 2010. In 2010 he was also an extended period of loan at Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Second Division.
Touray, who signed on with the North American Soccer League’s San Antonio Scorpions following the 2013 USL PRO season. Touray enjoyed a terrific 2013 campaign with a City Islanders squad ( banking career highs in points (28), (11) Goals and (6)Assist. Touray’s productivity in 2013 also landed him USL PRO-first-team, all-league berth.
His performance at Wallidan as well as with numerous Gambian young national sides has sparked the curiosity of a variety of European clubs, which resulted in his training in 2007 at Arsenal from the English Premier League. After the end in 2008 Gambian First Division, Touray was invited to a trial with the New York Red Bulls and was finally hired in August of 2008. He was in six matches as a member of Red Bull Reserves. Red Bull Reserves and scored two goals.

Touray began his professional journey at Tallinding United of the Gambian Second Division where it was home to the world’s smallest forward when he joined the team in 2003. The year 2005 saw him made the move into First Division side Wallidan, and was among the squad’s most important players, leading the team to win the 2008 Gambian title as their most prolific scorer with nine goals.
Touray is a member of The Gambian Under-17 and U-20 international teams. He was awarded the Golden Boot as a captain of Gambia’s U-17 squad that won the Ivorian four-nation football tournament. Gambia won 1-0 against Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final with just one score that was scored by Touray. The Gambia U-20 debut was on the 25th of March 2007, in the 2-1 defeat against Chile during the Suwon International Youth Football Tournament.
Touray made 21 appearances for the City Islanders in 2011, his first full season with the club. He bagged seven goals and six assists last season, finishing second on the team with 20 points and that helped the City Islanders grab second in the National Division.
