Ryan Northmore, born 5 September 1980 in Plymouth, England, is an English football manager. He was a former player and most recently, the under-18 manager at Yeovil Town, a National League club.

Northmore was a free transfer to Team Bath in the 2004 close-season, and then joined Weston-super-Mare as a loanee in September 2004. Team Bath recalled Northmore in December. Northmore was loaned back to Weston in December. He was then signed by Weston permanently. In June 2007, Northmore signed a contract extension with Weston.

Northmore was made Director of Football at Weston in 2012 after expanding the academy. He was given the Head Coach role in 2014 and remained in charge until September 2016 with the club in mid table on 10 points.

He joined Saif Sporting Club in the Bangladesh Premier League in April 2017 as assistant coach, teaming up with Kim Grant – an old friend – who was manager at the club. Grant was sacked midway through the season and Northmore took over leading the club to their first ever appearance in the AFC Cup at the end on the 2017–18.

He transferred to Conference side Woking on June 2003. However, he was unable to remove Ashley Bayes, an ex-Torquay goalkeeper from the goalkeepers’ position. Instead, he was permitted to join Bath City on a loan in December 2003 and Yeovil Town in March 2004.

Northmore started his career with Torquay United as a trainee, after previously being on the books at Plymouth Argyle (and Swindon Town) before he joined Torquay United. In August 1998, he became a professional and made his debut in the Auto-Windscreens Trophy against Gillingham on 7/12 1999. After Neville Southall, Torquay’s regular keeper had been injured during the previous league match, Neville Southall was unable to make his league debut. Southall highly rated Northmore as his understudy. However, Southall was let go at the end and Stuart Jones was signed to take over as the first choice keeper. Northmore was Jones’s replacement early in the season. He was a regular throughout the rest of the season, as Torquay struggled with relegation to Conference. Northmore was then dropped in the final game of the season away to Barnet. This game saw Jones save a penalty, and Torquay win at Barnet’s expense.

Roy McFarland was Torquay manager when Kevin Dearden was one of his first signings. His consistent form kept Ryan on the bench most of the season. After the season ended, Torquay manager Leroy Rosenior was appointed. Northmore was made third choice keeper following the signing of Jamie Attwell. He was released by the Plainmoor side in Oct 2002. Northmore became a full-time student in Bath and played in the Western League for Team Bath.

Following his exit from Weston in July 2009, Northmore signed for Dorchester before retiring from playing in 2010.
